Contextual Concerns for Services.

My PhD Thesis is concerned with the idea that applications could benefit from information held in external services in order to better assist the user. However, it is commonly found that the format of this information is different in each service and application. My system provides an Adaptive Contextual Portal, which will bridge the information gap between the systems. The approach I have chosen is based in Semantic Web technologies and makes extensive use of XML and Java technologies.
